Hawaiian Lomi Lomi

Lomi Lomi is the Hawaiian word for "massage," It is part of a larger native Hawaiian tradition of healing and natural body care. According to Hawaiian tradition, all living beings seek balance and love in the world. During a Lomi Lomi session, your therapist will focus on relaxing your body through a deep yet gentle touch, reviving your spirit, and filling your body with the energy of love. The long continuous strokes of Lomilomi distribute the pressure more evenly as the therapist focuses on treating your body as a whole, bringing your mind, body, and spirit back to balance.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to ensure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is expected after the treatment.

It would be best if you ingested plenty of water to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that have been released from the deep tissue during the session. Booking a Deep-Tissue massage will include MFR,  trigger point therapy, and structural integration based on your body's needs.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping to prevent damage, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and, in turn, promoting the body's natural immune function. Available on my online scheduling as a deep-tissue / sports massage service.

Reflexology Foot Massage

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that primarily intend to relieve tension in the feet, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every human body part is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments are highly effective for allergies, headaches, and depression.

Structural Integration

Structural integration employs soft tissue manipulation intending to realign the body in relationship to the force of gravity. The theory underlying structural integration asserts that the body's connective tissue is "bound up," thus restricting opposing muscles from working independently of one another. Therefore, we aim to loosen the restricted connective tissue by using a practice very similar to deep tissue massage. Practitioners typically prescribe a specific sequence of ten sessions lasting 90 minutes to "unlock" the whole body. Please book a 90 min Deep-Tissue to receive this service. Discount Packages of 10-12 are available at the time of service.

Myofascial Release

A myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It uses massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds between the fascia, muscles, and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain. Please book a deep tissue or sports massage if you want this type of bodywork. Book Deep tissue / Hapa blend to receive this technic during your massage.

Trigger Point Therapy

My deep-tissue or Hapa Blend massage may include Trigger Point Therapy. A style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the body's energy pathways. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through various techniques to release your trigger points. This process can be painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.

Pressure Point Therapy

Used in all my massages, Your body stores stress in specific areas called pressure points. Pressure points are small painful pockets of energy located along a nerve pathway in your body. These pressure points block the nerve energy from flowing through your body, causing a variety of discomforts and illnesses. In our session, I apply pressure to these specific points and dissolve them, releasing any blockages and restoring your nerve pathways to optimal health and function.

Chair Massage

5 hours: $1000.00

Chair massage is a popular way of relieving stress and releasing tension right in your home or workplace. You receive your massage in a specialized ergonomic chair which I bring to your location. In addition to the usual health benefits of massage, another use of chair massage is that it is done over the clothing. With seated massage, you can avoid the discomfort and awkwardness you may feel in disrobing for a traditional massage. Also, chair massage sessions are usually shorter than conventional massages, making them convenient enough to fit into your busy schedule.

If you are interested in booking a chair massage event, don't hesitate to contact Aloha Nani Massage directly to make arrangements. Please give advanced notice to arrange an out-call chair massage event. Or Call; I am always happy to answer any questions you may have. Mahalo.
